RE: May 19, 2009, District Director Election
The deadline for filing Candidacy forms for the District Director Election was March 19 and is now closed. The deadline for filing Withdrawal of candidacy and Notice of Measure Election forms was also March 19.
The Election date is May 19, 2009 and ballots will be mailed to all active, correctly registered voters between May 1st and 5th.
Malheur County has 31 districts; education, fire, cemetery, road, health and library. There were 83 open positions this election with 97 candidates filing.
