The County Parks system consists of a fully developed Bully Creek Park plus partial facilities at Owyhee Reservoir, Beulah Reservoir, and Malheur Reservoir. All these reservoirs provide irrigation storage as their primary function. Therefore, the water levels fluctuate during the summer season (high in the spring, low in the fall).

Bully Creek Reservoir is located ten miles west of Vale, Oregon.  It was constructed by the Bureau of Reclamation in 1963 and is operated by the Vale Oregon Irrigation District.  When full it covers 1000 acres and holds 30,000 acre feet of water.  It supports crappy, largemouth bass, bluegill and yellow perch fish population.

This park is operated and maintained by Malheur County since 1966, and it consists of 40 campsites all with electrical hookups, two with A.D.A. accessibility, three restrooms with showers, two covered shelters.  A day use area with two covered shelters and restrooms.  A concrete two-lane boat ramp with a dock, a caretaker who lives on the site.  The camp and day use areas have about 14 acres of lawn and trees.  The camping fees are $15.00 per sleeping unit per night for all campsites. There is a 5 dollar dumping fee for non overnight guests.  The park is operated from April 15th through November 15th (weather permitting).  Bully Creek Park office is located at 2475 Bully Creek Rd. Vale, Oregon.  Call (541)473-2969 for reservations.

At Owyhee Reservoir, the County maintains two concrete boat ramps, one just above the dam and one at the resort at the end of the road. Parking and vault toilets are provided at the dam ramp during the summer season. The resort is currently operated by the Bureau of Reclamation and provides camping and marine fuel. The ramp and parking lot at the resort are public facilities. The reservoir stretches for over 50 miles when full and offers fishing, water skiing, boating, and spectacular scenery. It can be reached by traveling 31 miles southwest of Nyssa, Oregon, on paved roads.

Beulah Reservoir on the North Fork of the Malheur River covers a maximum of 1900 acres. The County maintains a concrete boat ramp, a gravel parking area, and a vault restroom just above the dam. It is located 15 miles north of Juntura, Oregon, on a gravel road.

Malheur Reservoir on Willow Creek has facilities similar to Beulah. It covers 500 acres and is located 18 miles east of Ironside and 15 miles northwest of Brogan, Oregon. Access is on gravel road from both directions.

Cow Hollow Park is situated in rural Malheur County, Oregon near the city of Nyssa.   The address of the Park is 1030 Janeta Avenue, Nyssa. The Park is 20 acres and includes twenty- one (21) RV sites with electricity, playground equipment, cement restroom facility with bathrooms and showers, tennis court with basketball hoop, baseball/softball fields and a horseshoe pit.    For more information, Click Here.
